I red a thread about a week ago talking about the Mark VIII, when driving you can feel every bump (just about) in the road, I realize the same thing going on with my car, can anyone give me some incite on that situation, I drive my car to work every two week and crosses 6 railroad track back and fourth and the track are pretty rough. I had this car now for about 3 years 2 month and I have been cross these same tracks for about 2 years. and another thing can anyone give me the specks on how to lowering the suspensions on my Mark VIII. I would love to do just that.

The reason you are getting a rough ride is because your upper control arm, stabilizer link and lower ball joint all need changing. When these parts are worn out, you will feel every bump, every rough road you travel on. This is a major job, and once it is done the ride will be smooth again. Parts should cost about $300 for the parts. The ball joints can be bought at your local auto supply store. It is also best to go ahead and change the air bags or convert your Mark to coil springs. Whatever your choice. All in all, the whole front end is about $700 in parts. I did my work myself. It took me the whole weekend.
