Hi,
just getting the car out of storage, last fall I bought a new 3.73 rear end from max, there is a brake in period so I like to change there rear end oil, so I’m going to drop the rear cover. Now the tricky part what or how will I refill the rear end while its still on the car? :feedback

Its a cake job. Drop the cover, drain, CLEN the cover and carrier are where they meet VERY well. I use Brakclean on a shop rag. Then use Permatex "Right Stuff" (http://www.permatex.com/auto/autouh.asp?automotive=yes&f_call=get_item&item_no=25223) on the covers reciever groove. Run it a little higher then the covers surface and reinstall and fill. Let the Permatex dry for at least 2 hours before filling. On the rear cover itself is the fill plug.

You have to attach a 3/8 hose to the nipple of the bottle. turn it upside down and squeeze. You can buy a pump too. As for the oil I use Valvoline 75/90 Synthetic. (http://www.valvoline.com/pages/products/product_detail.asp?product=58)

I bought a pump to do one job, and was gonna sell it to a buddy of mine. I decided to keep it. ALOT easier than fighting that hose, and squeezing the bottle at the same time.
