I am a Mark VIII owner, but I've come across a 1990 Mark VII for sale for only $2900. The car only has 58k miles. What do you think? Is this a deal?

Is this a deal? If the rest of the car corresponds to only 58k - definitely a buy. I paid more than that for 110+k. Check every rubber or plastic component, under the hood, for dry rot or cracking. This will avoid small and major problems later. I bought mine for $1200 w/86,000 miles. Within 2 months I put another $1000 in changing all these parts and unfortunately due to one little rubber piece dry rotting and falling off, a new transmission! :slam Other than that just the usual fluid and filter changes asap. :wrench | |||||
