I for one don't care for racing stripes on any car, but I'm loving the blower and the yellow brakes don't look too bad, I may even repaint mine, but all silver or chrome for more color

I was thinking about painting mine Sonic Blue but with the cost of doing the engine bay and all the jambs..... too rich for my blood.

Very nice. What are the details on your blower? What kind of horsepower are you pushing with it?

What did you have to do to get that Procharger to fit correctly? That is the blower I want, but I will have a Cobra intake. The bumblebee look is quite different on a Mark.

The lambo door are welded . The fenders had to be remove to weld a steel plate along the engine compartment . The cost $4000. As far as horse power the supercharger is only pulling 10 lbs. Of boost so my horse power is right around 400hp.

The procharger was for a ford cobra . We cut in to the fenders and ran the pipping right in front of the passenger front wheel. We were lucky to find the pipe off of the intake because the cobra kit extends right where the shock tower is.

I have a lot of respect for the work done to the car. Its not my car and it was built for you not me so it dontmatter that I dont like yellow or like Lambo doors. I can see the love and detail that went into it and have much respect for it.

Now I have a plain ol pearl car with mismatched bumpers.... and three other shades of white on it too! :lol:
Hope to have it completly repainted soon though. :)

Too much for me with the yellow stripe but it's the dream of many here just because of the supercharger!. Very sweet set up. I look forward to seeing you at Jamie's meet!

I think the whole thing looks great, as a package deal. I like the yellow accents and what not, its different.

The only thing I don't like is that 4.6 SUPERCHARGED badgery... looks very out of place.

I think it's awesome work (speaking of the engine)....minus the yellow stripe and yellow engine paint. I saw the car at anna maria island on Saturday at a gas station. I'm sorry man posting a pic puts you up for criticism and that stripe REALLY shouldn't be on a Lincoln.

But then again I took a hammer to my engine so who am I to talk ;)

I would like the stripe if it was flat black. I know it sounds boring but it would add to the dual personality of the car. It would be subtle but still something that hints at the car being sporty.

PS, for that power level the car needs better brakes. You can do the Cobra conversion up front for $300 if you can redrill the rotors yourself or about $350 if you have a machine shop drill the rotors. :)

The car would look better all black in my opinion like Jamie said I think that most of us are solid color fans. The stripe would look better on a Camaro or Mustang...not on a Mark. The Mark should stick to its perfect sleeper look not a wannabe race car look. Thats what I think about the stripes. Now on that procharger that looks hot one of my future mods nontheless. Oh and almost forgot to mention that I have no comments for those lambo doors. BTW Welcome to LVC!!!!!

As has been stated, most of us would go solid color. However, for whatever reason, I like the look of your car. It's way over the top for what I would do to mine, but it looks like someone who really liked his vehicle did a ton of work to it to make it his own, so congratulations. Love the painted brakes, love the painted engine bay...not wild about lambo doors personally, but you don't have the problems with the door handles anymore. :D

Let me know if you need me to ship in extra mustard for the picnic. :D

I actually like the stripe... the 4.6 SC badge, black snake sticker, and lambo doors all make me want to kick things. But I like the stripe :)

Nice effort ... and a lot put in to the car ... If you ever think of re-painting it ... get rid of the stripe ...
