Me and Katshot went to three different part shops to look for some ignition wires for the Mark and nobody had the damn things! So when I got home I called up the NAPA store in town and sure enough they had them. I paid $108 for them but I dunno if thats a decent price or not but at this point I would have paid $200 for the damn things!!! So new air filter, fuel filter, wipers, serpantine belt, Autolite Platinum tip plugs and wires. Time for a tune up! But I just threw in the air filter and noticed a huge difference in the cars performance. The filter didn't look that bad I thought but I guess I was wrong. But for anybody that has doen their plugs and wires before......how hard of a job is it? Back on my 1990 Deville that was a pain in the ass!! So hopefully this will be a lot easier then that beast was

plugs, wires = easy!

just do them one at a time just have a few extensions and when you replace the wire mach it up with them new one. it real easy if you take your time and make it look nice 2 hours max!

yea....for a 1st time plug/wire swap..... 2 hours max.


once you've done it a few times it gets ALOT better. I've got em done in 30 minutes. Could have done faster, but I did'nt want to mess anything up.

Should have called one of the preferred vendors and got the Cobra wires and plugs. They ship overnight. Planning is everything. You would have saved money and the great thing about OHC motors is that everything is up top ounce you clear the appearance and intake items

plugs and wires are easy to change. Put a little anti sieze compound on the threads of the plugs. I paid 90.00 for my wires at AutoZone with lifetime war.
