Can i just have a muffler shop cut off the cats and weld in pipes, we don't have emission tests in kansas and it wouldn't be a problem.I want to replace both o2 sensors and cut off the cats, will this affect anything,since its a 95 I don't think it will throw codes, is this a good idea,it sounds a lot easier than gutting......let me know :L

I would gut if they do test you'd be likely to pass as the 4.6 can often pass a sniff test with no cats providing they look to be there. You will loose some low end tq and gain some high end hp and get a rattlingrasp like sound.
