i'm looking to buy ramps, i have 3 ton foor jack i been thinking it would be easier with ramps to work on the car what you guys use and where and how much. and what if the car is lowered?

i'm looking to buy ramps, i have 3 ton foor jack i been thinking it would be easier with ramps to work on the car what you guys use and where and how much. and what if the car is lowered?

I have a set of the old style stamped metal ramps and they were too high to fit under a lowered car, so I bought some plastic ones that are shorter, but of course they barely raise the car high enough. But if you don't get under the car very often it may be high enough. I may try and attach them to a piece of 2 x 12 to raise it up another couple inches.

Stack some wood in front of the ramp. Youjust need to increase the run and thus lower the slope.
