Then there are some great platics out on the market that are very heat resilient. I have been planning on building on for my V6. Just have not had the time to tool around with that project yet. Were can I Pick up the plastic tubing @ eL eS March 22nd, 2005, 06:16 PM Were can I Pick up the plastic tubing @ In LA is anyones guess. They are a lot of plastics R&D companines out in cali so you shouldnt be hard pressed to find some local plastics shop selling the products. I googled my area for some and a fellow floridian and LvC turned me on to another. If you have the V8 I would try to find a company that can help you custom bend the tubing and add the portholes for the air temp sensor and vacuum lines. I have a heating element that I used to bend my own plastics and have my own solvents to bond pieces. So it might be cheaper to work with them on the design. If they do a good job let them know you will give them some referals. this is some product that I have been looking at: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=54&product%5Fid=16628 https://secure1.nexternal.com/shared/StoreFront/default.asp?CS=plastiweb&BusType=BtoC&Count1=67791163&Count2=984931588 they are offered in different colors as well. http://www.professionalplastics.com | |||||
