Vancouver, B.C. Canada, I pay aprox. $0.96 Cdn$ for a litre of regular in the other vehicle but it is usually .10 cents more per litre for the premium stuff which is +94 octane at certain Chevron stations otherwise it is +91 at all other companies. The prices tend to go up & down .05 cents or so throughout the week and the exchange rate is around $1.25 CDN to purchase $1.00 USD. approx. 35 onces per litre. I believe it works out to about $3.65 CDN for a US gallon (using $1.00 for the mid-grade +89 octane)which is about $4.55 USD. Sure wish I was getting off as easy as you guys.

Oh well, even though we are at over $2.00 per gallon, we are still the cheapest. I guess we should count our blessings.

That's what a lot of people are hoping we'd start feeling... But I don't

Each price hike is a bigger dent in my pocket... and less I have for other things like food!!!

2.10 for 87 here 2.30 for 92

In Chicago premium is $2.50 and regular unleaded is $2.30. I am sick of paying so much. I already spent $60 in less than a week on two cars and guess what they are near empty again. I don't drive that much about 6 miles a day typically on my days off. I got to get rid of my van. It gets 4 mpg. :F

With those high gasoline prices in England and Canada isn't healthcare being paid through those high gas prices? I know for sure that a big chunk of the high price of gas in Chicago goes for our lousy schools that produces mechanics that fix anything right the first time. Cleo is a better guesser of what is wrong with my Jeep than my last mechanic.

I just got done paying $2.23.. :( I would have gotten is somewhere cheaper but I was running late for work, and I was riding on fumes..

For all you DFW people.. I found this one site that shows all the gas prices in our area. There is an option for the cities of Austin, El Paso, Houston & San Antonio

www.dallasgasprices.com

It only shows regular gas prices, but I'm sure you can add .10-.15 cents to it to get the Premium price..

I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, but a week or so ago I saw a short story on gas prices around the world, I think it was Fox News up until this I thought we in the U.S.A had the cheapest gas..........until I saw what they pay in I think it was Indonesia or one of those countries....with the dollar conversion the pay about .25 cents a gallon. After I awoke from crying induced coma I realized that they don’t have to have umpteen dozen blends like we do and probably isn’t as well refined.

Well, we are now at $1.05 Cdn per litre and rising with no end in sight. Something is going to break sooner or later we can't keep paying more without asking for more wages or just stop driving. How much do they think they can bleed us? :bash:

Unfortunately they say it is going to get worse. Refining capacity is near 100% and that is the bottleneck. We have not had a new refinery in this country since 1975.
