A guy here at work took these out of a car he's had at his house for a while. They are a little dirty, but look okay. It says Rockford Fosgate p18s4.

Just wondering if anyone has played around with these and if I put them in my trunk, will they make any bump?
Thanks

They will but that is Rockfords buttom speaker so their output and SQ are quite limited. If you put the subs in the rear corners of the trunk then they will sound fairly decient. Just dont expect to set off car alarms.

for free not bad. like laser said there not going to blow your socks off but should add a fuller sound. a 250-400 rms amp should be just fine..you could prob find a decent used one for around 50 bucks.

For the size and power range, they would probably be a good addition for the rear deck, enclosed from under the bottom of the rear deck. They should put out decent bass from the rear deck. Can also be heard from the trunk but being 8" and low wattage, don't expect any hard hitting or booming from back there.
