Has anyone encountered a top plastic chrome strip from breaking off the grill? They are clipped on and made by Lacks Systems. My dealer and Cadillac tell me I need to buy a new grill & since I have 60,000 miles I am out of warranty. They say that there have been no recalls & confirm that the clips pust broke off & that nothing hit my grill nor did the grill have any other damage. :feedback I am on my second Cadillac & had a Lincoln Town Car before.

I'm not familiar with the exact piece you're talking about but nothing should just break off or fall off. Do you have pictures of the grill and or the piece?

I had ordered a insert billet grill for my dhs in the process of installing i noticed how weak and fragile that strip is. It is a very poor and cheap design i was upset with mine to. The also sell billet grills where you just discard your entire grill strip and all and install that but it is up to you how you want your lac just thought id meant that

Yes, mine started working loose and few months ago and one day when driving down the highway, completely broke off and flew away down the highway! Cheap clips!

And I cannot seem to locate the part anywhere!:C
