The nut is off but the bolt won't move 87TTOPGT420 April 3rd, 2010, 10:07 AM sounds like it seized in the bushing, you can get it out but it ruins the lower control arm Blkdvll April 3rd, 2010, 10:10 AM That is the last thing I wanted to hear Blkdvll April 3rd, 2010, 10:32 AM Ignorance paid off, got it danny_holtermann April 3rd, 2010, 02:00 PM i know i had to cut off the part of the shock to get mine off, it still has the bushing around the bolt Blkdvll April 3rd, 2010, 06:56 PM I finished up with the conversion around 1pm. After getting the passenger front (first one I did) under my belt, each one after that was easier and easier. Hardest part of this entire install was getting my damn land yacht off the ground lol. blacklsc1 April 3rd, 2010, 07:09 PM mine were seized as well, i just bought new arms, and new bolts from ford. BAD97LSC April 3rd, 2010, 08:13 PM all you need is a BFH and some swinging power, and usually a few busted knuckles in the end! Blkdvll April 4th, 2010, 03:02 AM ignorance paid off, got it all you need is a bfh and some swinging power, and usually a few busted knuckles in the end! :iconcur: Kstills April 4th, 2010, 06:17 AM I've pulled four different struts off two cars. One of them had 186k on it. The way I did it was to soak those bolts for a few days with PB blaster. Each and every one turned off with just a breaker bar. On the other hand, I have two different steering columns, and I cannot get the wheel off either. The Mark giveth, and the Mark taketh away......:( GMAN April 4th, 2010, 09:15 AM I had the very same problem on my Green LSC. I removed the whole assembly since I was changing everything any. The bolt holding the airbag to the LCA was seized. http://i1008.photobucket.com/albums/af202/pogigreg/100_2801.jpg | |||||
