coil conversion install help please!

I can't get the bottom bolt on the front struts out, tips? The nut is off but the bolt won't move

sounds like it seized in the bushing, you can get it out but it ruins the lower control arm

i know i had to cut off the part of the shock to get mine off, it still has the bushing around the bolt

I finished up with the conversion around 1pm. After getting the passenger front (first one I did) under my belt, each one after that was easier and easier. Hardest part of this entire install was getting my damn land yacht off the ground lol.

mine were seized as well, i just bought new arms, and new bolts from ford.

all you need is a BFH and some swinging power, and usually a few busted knuckles in the end!

I've pulled four different struts off two cars. One of them had 186k on it.

The way I did it was to soak those bolts for a few days with PB blaster.

Each and every one turned off with just a breaker bar.

On the other hand, I have two different steering columns, and I cannot get the wheel off either.

The Mark giveth, and the Mark taketh away......:(

I had the very same problem on my Green LSC. I removed the whole assembly since I was changing everything any. The bolt holding the airbag to the LCA was seized.
