Ken - GrayGhost1 - is expecting them in shortly. I'm sure he'll chime in here. SolacE March 20th, 2005, 11:46 PM now with those they arent just a replacement part. Its just the lense and you have to take the amber one off is that right? GrayGhost1 March 23rd, 2005, 12:43 PM I'm anticipating those very soon. The company that is making them for me is a little behind but they are still working on them. They said I should have them the first of April. This is only for the lens and not the entire assembly. I have instructions on my website that show how to take your old amber lens off and attach the new clear lenses. It's about a 2 hour job from start to finish. ohioLS March 23rd, 2005, 02:19 PM Ken would you recomed that I wait till you get them in, because I am having my front bumper re-painted and they r disassembling the front end. My thinking is have the FLM body shop install them while they r there. Let me know my LS is supposed to be heading to the paint shop hopefully next week. -Scott- ps Love the McClaren Grill the guys over at my FLM dealership love the look of it! Well, it is something you can do yourself without any problems. I'm thinking that if you give this to your body shop guys they're not gonna want to do it. Just remember, this will not be DOT legal once you remove the amber side marker and put the clear one on there. So, the FLM body shop you are dealing with might not want to take that liability. This is a very good DIY project for any novice. Just take your time and don't rush it. However, if you feel you just can't do it then let me know. We might be able to work something out. But as long as you have an amber bulb in there, you should be fine... Right? Quik LS March 23rd, 2005, 05:01 PM But as long as you have an amber bulb in there, you should be fine... Right? nope - the signal light has to be amber - but all car must have an amber reflector on the side. the 03+ LSes use the amber sidemarker in the headlamp, the pre-03s needed the bumper marker. Angry_Inch March 23rd, 2005, 06:55 PM Being as these are for Sport models ONLY, has anyone a clue how us owners of non-sport models can get these developed? I am willing to work it! Mike, I'm working with this same company to make the non-sport version. They are making the molds for it now. It may take a bit longer since it is a different mold. Hang in there! I'm working it!
