have you all had this issue?
I get a chime time to time without any message being displayed on the message center. it's the same chime as when gas is low, advancTrac is turned off/on, etc. It almost feels like it's amount of fuel in fuel tank.
I always seem to notice when fuel is 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4 full.
I think message center does display something but by the time I hear the chime and look down, it's too late.
any ideas?

I think others have noted that this is related to the pcm loosing comunication with the transmission. I do not recall what the message is that displayed but has been reported. I am sure if you search around you will find it.

Someone is likely to remember. But is more of an annoyance that anything else. To my knowledge it is not a repairable problem.

Well if i remember also that someone posted that he had what was called a time or two a phantom beep, they he found out that the connection to the trunk release or something was loose and would just beep for less than a second fast enough not to show up on the message center. Might check that too, can't remember who or when that was posted but might look back at some earlier topics.

It hasnt happened in awhile.
It's not too bad. I get it maybe once or twice a month.
It used to be daily thing.
so I guess I can live with it.

mine does the same thing and it has always been the trunk

I wonder if you can adjust the height of the trunk latch switch

i think that is how they fixed mine when it happened under warranty.
