I just replace my driver side mirror in which my fluid leaked out. Got a used side mirror from a new mk8 local owner which the mirror still had the fluid. The only thing I used from the used one was the actual mirror ( they can be popped out, they are snapped in place ). So I was able to use my mirror housing and not pay for it to be repainted. Will post pic of the insides later.

Good job those plastic tabs that snap in break a lot

The first one is a nice repair kit that ford did for me. It went in the bodyshop for some repair and they broke the tap on my mirror bolt cover. I took it back to show them that they had broke my tab and that they had a repair kit.
