Pete, if you're going to watch all these "documentaries," I suggest that they need to be your starting point, not the ending point of your exploration of the subject.
Naomi Wolf is a hard-core leftist. She worked on the Clinton and Gore campaigns. It was her book that the film makers used to inspire the movie.
That movie was made in an effort to make it look like George W. Bush was engaging in steps to make America a fascist state.
I think it's interesting how the points she made then actually apply today with a much more vivid clarity and accuracy, however the target of the divisions aren't outsiders but other American citizens who merely don't agree with those in power.

Ultimately, the movie and Wolf is a ridiculous, dishonest, waste of time.

no subject was explored....just an offer of a movie. Hell if I actually was reading books often I'd even put up threads nominating book suggestions..but movies is where I favor...

no subject was explored....just an offer of a movie. Hell if I actually was reading books often I'd even put up threads nominating book suggestions..but movies is where I favor...Yeah that 'reading' crap is hard. :rolleyes:
