Painting suspension parts

Anybody try this?

I'm under there, and all that metal might look a bit better if it was a silver or red color. I figure the UCA's and LCA's could be done with something like rustoleum, since there wouldn't be any heat history on the metal.

That's what I'm talking about!!

Sweet.

POR 15, sounds like the stuff to get. Expensive, but I'm sure you can paint a bunch of parts with a quart.

Even new parts could use a nice finish. That factory powder coat is pretty weak. Those spindles look great and will probably clean easily.

DLF I love your attention to detail. It shows a lot of professionalism in your work, I can tell there's a lot of planning, prepping, and patience in your work. You've got a very clean mark vIII. I'll probably buy something from you in the near future. I've been eyeing a few of your products. Keep up the great work.

If I have to have a shop do any suspension work on my car, I always buy my own parts and paint them silver or yellow or something like that so that I can look under the car and make sure they did what I told them to. I try to do all my own work whenever possible. I don't like having somebody else messin' with my car. But sometimes I have to. When I do, I like to be able to know for sure that the work was done properly.
