Kstills March 20th, 2010, 10:35 PM Anybody try this?
I'm under there, and all that metal might look a bit better if it was a silver or red color. I figure the UCA's and LCA's could be done with something like rustoleum, since there wouldn't be any heat history on the metal.
DLF March 20th, 2010, 10:47 PM I had my spindles powder coated. :D
slowmkviii March 20th, 2010, 10:51 PM I was at least hopeful to paint my stuff black or the color of steel

That's what I'm talking about!!
Sweet.
POR 15, sounds like the stuff to get. Expensive, but I'm sure you can paint a bunch of parts with a quart.
Icarus March 21st, 2010, 07:00 AM I painted my spindles black. It looks good.
unity March 21st, 2010, 08:48 AM Even new parts could use a nice finish. That factory powder coat is pretty weak. Those spindles look great and will probably clean easily.

Chris_Murder March 21st, 2010, 10:38 PM DLF I love your attention to detail. It shows a lot of professionalism in your work, I can tell there's a lot of planning, prepping, and patience in your work. You've got a very clean mark vIII. I'll probably buy something from you in the near future. I've been eyeing a few of your products. Keep up the great work.

thaywood March 22nd, 2010, 11:28 AM If I have to have a shop do any suspension work on my car, I always buy my own parts and paint them silver or yellow or something like that so that I can look under the car and make sure they did what I told them to. I try to do all my own work whenever possible. I don't like having somebody else messin' with my car. But sometimes I have to. When I do, I like to be able to know for sure that the work was done properly.
