Hey so when i first bought a cobrastar emblemk i had bought. one for both sides ( both face forwards ) and one for the rear. Unfortunately i could not get it to fit on the trunk of my 95 continental so its just been sitting in a box. i am selling my continental locally and have no need for the emblems. but i am selling them with the car. ( car is not sold just yet. ) however i have one xtra emblem, and if its ok with ONEBADMARK8, ill sell it to someone here.

i take a refrigerator magnet, or a magnetic business card, peel off the paper and stick on a Lincoln Star or a Cobrastar decal on that. then, when i park the car, i can easily take off the magnet and then I dont have to worry about some cheesedick stealing my lock cover. it works pretty slick and looks great.

Yeah Geno I got this from you before and it did look nice. My thing is mine fell out so all I have is the chrome peice with no insert. I tried buying another one but it didnt happen. So I guess I will make my own and order another sticker from you. It would be nice if someone could make one that was an incert and take out the old one.

if enough guys wanted these, we could go splitsies on a pack and get them realllllly cheap.

this way you can take them off to wash your car or to transfer to another car. these are as thick as 5 sheets of paper but they come thinner or thicker.

just an idea. and i'm not saying that i want to be the one that organizes it. trust me you guys dont want me organizing anything :rolleyes:

So what's the best way to remove these from a car without damaging the paint? Heat gun and peel them off?

I'm replacing a drivers side one that faces backwards with one that faces forwards...

you can use dental floss, take a long strand and slide it under the cobra from the bottom and work towards the top, or fishing string works too, may have to replace the adhesive backing, double sided 3m tape from any hardware store

You will have to replace the body moulding tape because you will cut it in half. Now you hace to remove the other half from the car. Take your time and remove as much as you can without getting crazy and spending four hours on it and get some adhesive remover from the auto parts store. When I worked in the body shop we used reducer but it will strip all the surrounding area of wax but if you are so inclined.

Probably not..I'm pretty sure that I and Laser got the last sets, but like I said..call Geno during buisiness hours to confirm.

The Emblems are a pre-order deal...there must be (50?) sets prepaid before the product will be produced...hence...since they are already paid for, by customers...it leaves very few just laying around hoping someone will buy them
