Anyone know if the Motorcraft filter is a smaller design now, to help us Mark owners?

If it is, I will run one from now on. I always use K&N filters.

My personal opinions:

plugs: Autolite

wires: Ford Racing

oil: Mobil 1 0W-20

filter: Wix (Napa sells them re-branded under the NASCAR brand)

trans fluid: any name brand Mercron V

I use motorcraft oil filter and I did the oil change in 10 minutes not including jacking up the car...

i say if you remember how you got the old filter out, put the new one in the same way...
