I am knew at trying to fix my own transmission. Because Lincoln is so expensive. What is the JMod and what do I need to do it. I alreade replaced the 1-2 accumulator piston. I heard something about a valve body???? I just want my car to shift right again thats all a ask.

Drill/enlarge holes in the valve body seperator plates, remove 2-3 accum. springs, etc. See the TCCOA link for an in-depth thesis...

The J-mod will not fix a mechanical problem.

Try a full service flush. It should have a cleaner in addition to displacing all the fluid with fresh Mercon V.
