DieselDan February 22nd, 2010, 09:10 PM Drop the K member, imo... wizwrath February 22nd, 2010, 09:11 PM dude, your gonna need one sooner or later, especially if your gonna out thing in something else...you should have a local checkers/pepboys/O'reillys or somewhere you can rent one for cheap, maybe a friend? You can try and run a AD and see if someone can rent one to you for a day. kustomizingkid February 22nd, 2010, 09:12 PM I would get a comealong and attach it to something in your garage, possible a plank of wood spreading the weight over multiple joists, then just lift the car up over the engine and slide it out from underneath... XLRVIII February 22nd, 2010, 09:15 PM sawzall the front core support out! hell your junkin the car.. get a box of blades and cut the car from around the engine chicken February 22nd, 2010, 09:26 PM sawzall the front core support out! hell your junkin the car.. get a box of blades and cut the car from around the engine hell if any of it is worth a damn cut it so it could be reused in case of a wreck BAD97LSC February 22nd, 2010, 09:37 PM i would bolt two tires on it and cut the front of the car off and roll the engine straight out the front, put a floor jack under the center of the k-member to make rolling easier. when i started parting these i had a single car garage with a 7 foot ceiling, no hoist ever in that garage, we just pulled them straight out the front. | |||||
