J-Mod/Valve Body Question

Is there any shift kits or valve bodies they make for our cars? im kind of worried if i do the Jmod im going to screw something up and then ill be out of a car. Does anyone here do J-modding to the valve bodies?

Send it to me and I'll do it for you for $20 and you pay the shipping both ways. All I need is the plate, not the valve body. If you want me to do all of it and install the 2 new gaskets, you'll need to buy the gaskets from Max and send those and the valve body but the shipping is going to be higher on you. If you want me to email you detailed instructions on how to do it with ease, PM me your email address and I'll send you the PDF. It's very simple to do.

I got a BOC separator plate kit - that worked out great but was a little pricey.

There is a guy on tccoa that sells j-mod kits drilled to any stage for $120. That includes the springs, and everything else. My kit is on the way, if interested let me know and I will give you his email.

he does NOT include the valve body. Believe me, I bought mine from him 2 years ago. See Laser's post above about the jmod.

i decided if im going to take the plates off i might as well just go for it myself and drill it. if i screw up i guess ill have to get new ones. hopefully i dont. it doesnt seem that hard. ive got the new gaskets too.

If you can look at a picture with dots and the picture shows you which dots needs to be drilled and tells you what size they need to be drilled, you can do it. I have never done something so simple that looked that intimidating to do. Before I took it apart and done it, I was like "man, idk" but the hardest part about it all is removing all them damn bolts. TAKE PICTURES AS YOU GO so that you'll know where your bolts are supposed to go.

It says to tighten them back at 90 inch pounds. If you don't have an torque wrench with inch pounds, divide that by 12 foot lbs. There's your number.

ok sounds good. i ordered all the stuff i need about a month ago from bill at super coupe performance. now its getting down to where i have to start working on the trans and im nervous im going to screw something up. it should be fine. like you saying all those bolts are going to be the hardest part.
