Well is the battery dead or not, turn the headlight on, are they bright?? try to start it, do the headlights go out? batteries just die, they don't need to be old to be bad. if battery is good, when you crank does it go clunk or any other noise?

clean terminals and clamps thoroughly, then charge the battery (slow charge, like 2 amp is better)-good idea to use a digital meter to check to see what standing voltage is (sits overnight)-it should be at least 12.6 volts, and when running it should be 14 volts or better. New batteries do go bad sometimes, but usually it is a connection/parasitic draw/alternator issue first. Jap alternators are expensive, but usually pretty reliable.

took it to auto zone to test it, they said it's charging fine, noticed the positive battery clamp was very loose, tried to tighten it up ripped right in half, bought a new one and no problems so far
