I'm looking for the plastic liner for the passenger side wheel well. I noticed mine was cracked with a large chunk missing out of it today along with a bent rim (wife doesnt know what happened and never noticed the shake in the wheel), I've checked some of the local parts yards with no luck. any idea where I could find it?
I'm doing the entire front suspension now and would like to get it replaced.
I'm also looking for a decent set of wheels if anyone has any for sale, looks like the custom wheel shop web site only has one wheel listed now. super coupe performance has a nice set of saleen stars but are $219 each.
found a set of borbarts on ebay at a really good price but they have significant rash.

find a junkyard with a good fender. typically the liner is sold with the fender, but im sure someone would be willing to help you out.

LaserSVT is parting out a 97 LSC. I am sure he has what you need. What kind of wheel do you need?

I pm'd laser earlirer, his wheel well liner is cracked. Didn't ask about the wheels. I have 10 spokes and it looks like I have one bent one on the pass side front for sure.... I'll have to check the rear.

Where's forest lake? I have some 10 spokes chillin'.

If you want nice aftermarket, wait til Brad (the custom wheel shop) gets his next run of wheels done. They should be in the process right now. Any 89-97 t-bird wheel will bolt on too, if you just want to find a cheap one to hold you over til you find a nice set. Finding nice stuff for these cars takes patience.

Sure would like one of those rims nut! Mine were near mint, especially the three that didn't get black in the fire. All center caps had no scratches in them either. Now I have a black wheel and a cap missing lol. I'm not sure if I even want the Octi's on the white car or not. Can't make my mind up.

Have you checked local junk yards?
Maybe you can find one.

The car was a POS. :) dam brits.
It would eat points for no good reason and you never knew when.
I used to keep a distribtor in the glove box with new points, you could swap them without changing timing.
Converted it to eletronic.
The dam SU carbs sucked always getting out of sync.
First gear Syncros eating $hit, overheating warping the head.
Eating head gaskets...clutches...I dont miss it.

I was kicking that around when I had the MG.
The aftermarket for 2.3 is insane.
I would love to see that car....sounds like a blast!
And a Goat....sounds cool.
Goat pics?????

That is very true. All the shops here suck. I stopped at a few places thinking it would be worth spending $125-$150 and save myself that 6-7 hours worth of work. Well for $170 (most places were same cost) they will wash it, shampoo it and wax it. Thats not a freaking detail! I even tell the guy (who is Mexican and can barley understand) that I want it clayed, de-swirled, waxed, buffed.... what a freakin detail actually is. I get a blank stare and "Ju won me to use dirt .... eh clay on jur car?" Yeah, no.

Fugg it, weekend after next I will detail it myself when it gets back from the body shop.

The 2.3 makes it quite quick, it weighs in at 2090lbs with me in it. I'll get all the pic's up as soon as I can. I was thinking a Mark viii motor in the MG but it just to wide! a 5.0 will fit quite nice though.
The Mini was a blast, factory it put out about 46hp. after all the work she ran about 113hp. still not practical on highways in the US.

Gotta love those mexicans. There's so much illegal work going on in Texas, that's the one thing I can't stand. The last time I was an 'employee' I quit when my boss told me I had to hire a couple guys he had working with us for 10/hr, that didn't speak english. I just don't have the f'g patience to use my hands and arms as my mouth.
