You send them a piece of your fabric and they send back a stain for your leather. You take the other stain off. Put some conditioner on it and re-stain. There are some before-after's on the site and it looks pretty darn nice for someone who can't get ahold of a new seat and is willing to do the work.

Why is that? I don't know much about leather.

The processes our leather goes through turns it essentially into plastic... the idea of conditioning or feeding the leather is false... the only things that are important is UV protection and keeping it clean from dirt. The thing is that the leather is no longer porous, you can't dye something that isn't porous.

The seats on my 98 looked like there was mud on them when I bought it. I actually used saddle soap and a shoe polish brush and went to town for 2 days. I was very amazed that I brought back the color of the seats they felt very smooth after I was done.

You should see what steam blasts clean from the leather...

For our leather the Leather Masters Trio is the bomb... The one product is called a conditioner, and I know I already said that this isn't necessary.... but this stuff acts as more of a deep cleaner, think facial...

If your leather is 100% shot I'd recommend using a leather paint, SEM makes some of the best I have ever used.
