I Need Help

i was removing the aftermarket stereo and when i was pulling it out i saw smoke come out like if some wires touched so then i notice my alarm was not respoding so i disconnected batt and now nothing works car is not even cracking, you can hear bells when i turn key but no crank windows, lights, etc is not working what could this be

ummm, whatever it is, it can't be good. always disconnect your battery before messing with that stuff. Pointless advice right now given your current situation (no pun intended).

Check all the fuses obviously, thats the first place to start...

Well, the first place to start is to make sure whatever smoked is no longer attached.

well i found the problem it was
fuse #20 FEM, DATC, Cluster, Brake Shift Interlock,REM
i cant believe one red fuse shut down the whole car

That's why I didn't think it was a fuse since so much stuff shut down. Glad you found the problem.

if there are any exposed wires, then you better get that fixed first before messing around with anything else.
