Angel Eyes to Parking Light Wiring Help

Hi guys. I just put in some angel eyes on my 04, but I cannot get them to light up?

I have 3 wires coming out of the parking lights/signals

blue/black
orange/blue
black/white

I thought power was orange/blue so I tapped into that,

Then I figured black/white was ground so I tapped into that.

What am I doing wrong. The angel eyes have a white and brown wire coming off, but those shouldnt be hard to follow as they are two, positive negative.

I just need help before I keep cutting up all my harnesses!

Thanks

I was going to order some angel eyes for my LS, and get rid of the amber lenses at the same time. I am not sure which is the power wire for the parking lights, but for the ground all you have to do is ground them to the chassis. That is going to be the best way to get a solid ground.

Okay I found out the white is positive wire and the brown is the grounding wire.

I grounded the brown to a bolt and touched the white to the orange/blue and the white/black.

When I put positive onto the orange/blue the LEDs stay on, but when my signal is going, they dim slightly with each flash...

THen when I put positive to the white/black the LEDs flash with the signal.

I want them to just stay on when I have my parking lights on, and not flash with my signals....

ANy ideas? Im going to go back out and play with the wires some more.

ANy help appreciated

Okay blue/black is the default ground.

Wow these are hella bright with the engine running! Hurts your eyes

I can't get them to stop flashing with the signal... This is gay lol

Nah that. Write up is for ccfp rings. These are totally different. And that was on a gen 1.

But I'll post a basic write up
tomorow when I finish. They rock man!

The wire taps either the ones supplied or any wire taps in general are not very reliable. I recommend soldering for sure. I had one go out and I thought it was the ballast, turns out the wire tap corroded, took it off and discovered it was barley cut to make contact. Just saying, after soldering they definitely, illuminate much quicker and have a slightly brighter look.
