Hey I posted about a month ago about my 1996 mark viii trans. Found a 98 crown vic trans for 200 dollars. 140k miles. I know it will have to be repinned and solenoid changed. which ones and can i use the crown vic converter or my old one or buy a new one

The one that's in it unless you want to do an upgrade to a better TC. You don't want the one out of the Mark trans at all!

If I'm not mistaken... don't like 2000-ish mustang converters work perfectly?

Why are you bothering with a used trans with 140k? I paid $275 for a 99 grand marquis transmission with 22k on it

Yea, you guys make alot of sense. I'm still searching. I'm waiting on a reply from a guy in VA with a 66,000 mile 2001 mustang 4r70w that he took out to swap for a 5speed. Hope he calls back. Its also 200
