5.0 LSC transplant

Hey guys,

I have come upon a jewel of an engine ever since I started with my new girlfriend. There, all the way in the back of her property......a 1988 Lincoln Mark VII with a 5.0 HO V8. Best of all. It only has 40,000 miles on it!

But since it has been sitting there without starting for about two years. I imagine there's gonna be a lot of work to do on her to get her up and running again. The leather interior is cracked and so is the dashboard. But the electronics all still seem to work. The air suspension is completely shot also.
I still haven't decided if I'm going to stick to the Mark VII or to transplant the engine to a Mustang. So I'm trying to find some info on this possible project.
I gather the block is identical. Only the engine management differs somewhat.
How hard would it be to install this block into a Mustang body? What are the things I would surely need? Does the mustang body have to be a V8 as well?
You know things of that nature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xander
