the battery in my mark dies within a night, the battery is almost new, the car doesnt run much but i did a test, i fully charged the battery, then let it sit for 24 hours without touching a thing then went to go start it and the interior lights wouldnt even come on and i had to disconnect the thing in the trunk above the cd changer because it wouldnt stop making noise. any ideas fellas? thanks in advance.

Anything left plugged in the cigarette lighter will usually drain the battery

Shut the car off and all the plugged into the lighter stuff off. Then disconnect the battery cable and use a voltmeter to see if you still have a drain put the neg side to the batt and the pos side to the cable. If you have a drain voltage will be flowin through the test meter, now hunt you're drain. Things like dome lights glove box the mirrors in the visors and also the trunk. Good luck.:D

I have a same sort of thing going on. I traced it down to fuse #6 in the passenger compartment which controls the mirrors memory seats and a couple other things. So I now have to chase that down and i no the feeling. I also just put a brand new red top in it.

parasitic drain. i have those on both the mark and maquis. there a b!tch but i'm to lazy to track it down. luckily i have to replace them once a year so the warrenty still remains each time. hell i've replaced the one in the marquis like 4 times. mark only once. mark only dies if it sits for acouple weeks so its not as bad.. the marquis's tend to die when it get cold out.

Air ride is located above the CD changer. Is that what you heard running?
