You can go to a local stereo shop and they should have what you need. :Beer Sifrino3 March 7th, 2005, 03:45 PM Don't pay for nothing. I have never had to buy a tool for a aftermarket radio. . . seanklsc March 7th, 2005, 03:46 PM You can be cheap and make a set of tools that looks like this: http://home.att.net/~p.howrey/a01.jpg Or you can buy it at autozone for like $3.99. You push them both in until you hear "click" then you kind of grip them together and pull. The radio should come out pretty easy, but sometimes it's a bitch. 67Continental March 7th, 2005, 05:57 PM thanks for the help guys, i appreciate it. Jibit March 8th, 2005, 07:08 AM normally aftermarket stereo's use small tools that slide in on both sides to press in a clip.......a butter knife usually works. I don't think aftermarket stereos are held into place very well anyway so you may be able to grip the outside of the stereo and pull and you may be able to pull the entire unit out in one peice.....try the butter knife first though :Beer | |||||
