Does anyone have a pic of the LMS Xpansion I muffler? Also, has anyone here powercoat their intake manifold? I was thinking a bright silver, like the jet-hot coating on headers, would be nice!!!

That's what I was looking for when I got the borlas!!!! Are mufflers and tips already set at that angle?

No they look like this. I did that cut custom because I like the mufflers on an angle.

Why do you like the tips on an angle?

No. All 94 and up Marks have the oval "relief" in the bumper.

What is the degree of difficulty in custom cutting the bumpers on a 93. Having the tips stick out is way more cool.

Also, I 've notice that since the mufflers are angled up in the car, dual tips would look a lot angled on Generation 1 cars. How was this done on the Tasca Super Mark?

I cut the tips from the XpansionX I's on my car, angled the mufflers the re welded them on. The SuperMark uses Cadillac STS tips with non angled one off custom made mufflers.

Any body shop can cut you a nice oval for one to two hundred bucks.

the reason I have the borlas is because all I saw on the LMS website was the Expansion IIs. I didn't even know THIS site existed back then.

I bet there's a web article out there on cutting the bumper covers. When I worked at the body shop, we had a pneumatic saw that cut em pretty smoothly. The cutting is easy...it's making sure you properly mark/align where you're going to cut. Door edge trim works well on the edge that's left afterwards.

I bought my Mark back in July. Got the mufflers in late I think and I happened upon this site and the LMS one around November/December timeframe. I wonder if I can sell them to a T-Bird owner or an '05 Mustang owner. They're really nice sounding mufflers with 4" oval magnaflow tips, just not pretty like the Xpansion I's.
