I have a 2000 V8. My rear struts are about done fer. I thought I'd ask around here before I order some. I have an electric radiator fan with shroud off an '03 that I would trade straight up if interested.

FYI: Lincoln LS has coil over shocks.

Then you must know there are three different shocks for the Lincoln LS and it would be best to match front and back so knowing what you now have would be helpfully, if you can't match then look for four of the same.

Yours is going to be the base one. It goes base, sport, and euro. Euros didn't come stock with any LS that I know of (but I could very well be wrong on that) but they are the firmest you can go with. Sport is obviously next in line and the base ones offer a much "softer" feel.

There are two different sway bar's to match the shocks, standard and sport that also are used on the euros.
