Ok, some of you know that I have this 90 325i manual. I had if for about 6 years now and its my baby. About 135000 miles on it.

I just ordered whole bunch of parts for it that I am gonna put on next week or so.

It was parked for the last year or so undercover and the other day i took it out and washed it.

The parts that I got:

H&R race springs
Bilstein Sport shocks
new clutch slave
new door seals
new trunk seal
new front suspension rubbers with control arms tie rods and sway bar links
rear sway bar links
16x7 BBS LM direct fit reps ( I had 17x7.5 Alpina reps on it before but sold em)
some 215/45/16 tires. Don't have those yet.

That's about it for now and then I'll see what else do i do to it. But those are the main things that I need to put on.

I will post after pictures when I am done. Oh yea and I am also gonna remove the tint.

Oh yea. A little update: did the rear springs/shocks/sway bar links/trunk seal and then went to work. There was no time to start the front. Hopefully today will do the front too.

Ordered tires. Falkens Ziex ze91 205/45/16. Dont want any rubbing thats why didnt go with 215s.

I have had a TON of e30's...

I had a blast with a 325i manual... I could sit that bastard sideways for weeks!

I want to put an lsx in one... now THAT would be a riot!

Changed the suspension. The shocks and the rubbers were dead. Now pretty much all new :). Took if for alignment. Gonna pick in up in couple of hours. I like how the drop came out. Handling is badass.

Big brake kit wheels.

Yeah, that's it. That's what I meant... :shifty:

Wheels look great on there. I agree that staggered would look better, but those are still great for the car.

I like it much better without the super dark tint. But maybe 50 would look nice too.

I owned two, an 87 325i and 89 325i white and red at the same time. fun little cars. tough engines. electronics were crap, plastics were kinda crappy too. the iac valve was a problem. I spent more on repairs in my LS than those two cars combined.

HyeLifeLS
February 7th, 2010, 11:45 PM
Thanks.

The wheels are from a group buy that made em special fitment in this car's bold pattern. Dont know the exact brand that made them, i know they shipped em from UK.

Didnt have too many problems with mine actually in 6 years. Alternator, couple of hoses nothing major.

Did have a cracked electrical board that caused the blinkers not to work. Other then that its all good.

Fun factor is very high especially in a lowered car with new suspension. Feels great to drive it.

looks great. Man..those were the cats meow in the mid to late 80's. STill looks good. howeveer, I actually preferred them with the larger chrome (eek) heavier bumpers. Made the whole car look more "substantial" I guess.

HyeLifeLS
February 8th, 2010, 06:45 PM
I remember when I first drove on when I was 13-14. It was a 1983 318 non-injection and with a 4 speed manual. Mann did I love it or what??? And with a big 6 cylinder its a whole different animal.

The one I think that looks the best is a pre 88 with M-tech I kit on it. Like this one.
