This check engine light has me very confused. I only get the light sometimes when I start the car in the morning, and while cruising at normal highway speeds. Let's say, I am going along at about 60mph, the check engine light comes on. So I accelerate to 70mph. By accelerating, the light goes off. What would be causing this light to come on in the first place?

you need to scan it to tell whats doing it. when the light goes off, it has stored the code. Get a scanner, and follow the instructions. :)
