Sorry for the caps. Anywayz, I live in Lakeland, Florida. I need a cheap, but a car that runs good, wit not transmission problems or any technical problem, car.

I'm not talking, $1,200 - $1,500.

My price range is like $0 - $600 or around that.

Please someone help me. I've been searching forever. I need a car. I'm tired of walking to work. I would catch the bus, but....well, its something I don't feel like getting into. I just need a car.

Check out eBay. I got a very nice 1988 Ford Thunderbird for only $250.

It is a very nice car and not what you would think for $250.

I have a 94 ford escort wagon Id be happy to dump for $1500 - but im in chicago. Had the engine replaced 40k ago. Runs strong. Not the best looking but not the worst either.

here's the deal, I need a car in Florida, and I want kind of a sedan type, not those bucket seat cars, and not the long old skool cars.....maybe its picky, but other than that, I needa cheap car.

And I checked autotrader, but I don't want to drive so far away. I checked for cars withing 25 miles and nothing great really came up.

im glad you tryin to help me out, but you postin searches, with locations within 300 miles.......I don't want to have to drive an hour or two to get a car, I don't really want searches within more than like 40 miles from my zip code

actually, lately, i've been thinking about maybe getting a $1000 car, make a small down payment(maybe like $400-$500) and just make quick payments. A $100 car won't be a problem paying it off quickly because $200 a month and that's only 3 or 4 payments considering that the down payment was $500.

So, now I'm looking for maybe a $1000 - $1,200 car(or SUV, like Ford). Then I have to ask the owner if i can make payments on it(incase they just want the money up front.

I hardly know any good car sites that have a variety and asks for All Makes isntead of you picking a specific one.
