I am getting kooks 3/4 length headers for my car. I will probably ditch the cats. I have 2 x pipes with a set of LMS mufflers (the triple chamber straight through ones).

How do these cars sound with headers? Any drone at cruising speeds? How about WOT? What can I do to reduce any unpleasant noise at cruising around town?

VERY loud. But with our mufflers it should help. Like i said we provided the car for the Kooks deal and he had our XpansionX 1 mufflers with our XX pipe and it wasn't too bad. Its noticeably louder though.

No not at all. I was worried about that too until I heard it. Its IMPRESSIVE!

I would keep the cats by the way Chris. You can get some nice small ones from Supercoupe Performance (http://www.supercoupeperformance.com/) for like $80, and you can remain in spec as far as the sniffers are concerned.

You may not have insepctions now, but in time it is inevitable, so to stay within the law, you can get a set of those.

Also, Bassani makes some REAL nice round ones, but they are like $150 each, and there is another company that makes the same round ones, and the price on those are the same.....$150 each. :Beer
