Testing the waters: 2003 Alipine Green V6

So after visiting a dealer and getting discusted at the price the trade-in value on my LS I'm putting a feeler out as to what I can get for it on the private market. The right offer comes up I might sell it if the car I was going to trade it on is still available.

It's a 2003 Base V6, Alpine Green (very very rare dark green, not a single one for sale right now nationwide and I've only seen 1 other and it was an 2002) over expresso/mocha (tan/brown) interior. It's got power pedals and I'm not sure what else as far as options go. 80k miles that I've put 48k of on myself, largely highway going from Nashville, TN to Dayton, OH and back twice a month to see my now wife in grad school. Always run mobile 1. Put EBC front rotors and red pads on it along with Bridgestone Pontenza Pole Position tires that are still in excellent shape, 65%+ tread left. Has freeway chips on the front bumper and a crack in the rear chrome strip on the bumper. Interior is in great shape, minor wear on the drivers seat that should clean up with some dedicated attention.
I have an autodimming/compass mirror and the front strut covers in a box. Pictures coming when I dig up the Autotrader brochure from when I bought it.

Asking $9k just to start things out.

I saw an 03 v6 for sale at a local shop and called in to check on it. I was curious what the range in asking price was on these cars (I have an 04 v6 with 84k). It had 110k on the clock and they were asking $10,500. I made him repeat the price just to be sure I wasn't the one out of my mind. He confirmed it and I had to chuckle a bit. It wasn't on the lot long.... don't know where it ended up though.

Good luck with your sale, let us know what you end up selling it for.

It's a first class cabin on the space shuttle at launch, extremely powerful and comfortable. The Lincoln would have to sell first though and I'm not really marketing it right now other than here. It's not the perfect one for me but it is local and that is rare.

That's a very nice Jaguar you have there, CTX-SLPR! Good color, too!
