Never had this issue befor but the grills do come right off the speakers in the back and there you can acces the wires to check at that end. Mine is a 95 and my radio isnt tied to the cig lighter. I blow this fuse all the time with my zun. Try the search function a little also, It will keep people from attackin you on youre first post.:D

disconnect only one rear speaker and you won't hear it anymore.

well i wont be a a$$ like some ppl. it may be nothing but there is a fuse for the amp under the hood, check that if there is a blown fuse theres ur culprit, if not idk.

I would jump towards the amp. You may try to do a quick wire around the amp [detour from back of the stereo to the speaker] Alleviate the amp basically to one speaker and see if it works then if so the amp is toast. And I also agree with deadmark. Also remember the radio is 16 years old.

The stock system in these cars suck.
By the time you track down what it is you could have rewired a new HU in the car.
If your broke get a cheap HU new or off of craigslist and rewire the speakers to the new HU.
bypass everything stock.
You can always pop for new speakers later.
It will sound 10x better then the old crap.

OBTW...you will catch hell here if you ask a question that can be found easy by a simple search.
Search first.
If you search first and still can't find your info, add to your post that you did a search and couldn't find anything.

These cars have common problems that have been covered countless times.

Welcome to LVC.

I would never call anyone an A$$ on here we are all proper and nice ppl on here always willing to give every noob a helping hand...some ppl shove ppl off a cliff and hope they can learn to fly before they smash their face into the ground, others...well just get tired of watching face smashers and give the info just to make ppl go away.

enjoy
