2002 lincolnLS, you can use either a dremel or a jigsaw for cut the plastic. I used a dremel on the black part, and a jigsaw on the painted bumper cover.

Thats a closer cut that the stock exhaust holes. I checked mine out right now and there is a bigger gap around them than how you cut yours up.Nice
