Navigation System for Mark VIII

A buddy of mine is an electronics board installer, and we are working on two experiments. The first one is devising a way to use the space that currently house information system for Gen I's to house a 5" or 6" screen for a Navigation. We are looking at several options.

To make the screen operate the navigation and somehow keep the messages that the information system displays
Try to keep the cost down that everyone with Marks will be able to afford it.

The other Navigation experiment we are working on is for Gen II cars. Since the Gen II's have a double din radio, we will be soon experimenting with this radio:

The radio is still a bit on the expensive side, so we will gladly take all for the expense and R & D cost on this. So stay tuned.

I belive the gen2 are a din and .5. to tight for a double din.

me i got navigation, and i can watch dvd's while i deive and i can play mp3 and cdrw so im straight.
