my 98 lsc has phantom door locks. did the wd40 sealed the keypad door switches work. the door lock unlock randomly or immediately after you lock them. it only happens when it rains or it is humid. soit is a moisture issue. the auto door lock is also tuned off. any ideas. i kow of another 98 owner with the same issue

door sensor. 30 buck new if you lock it after getting out use your key.....to unlock it then lock

the sensors work according to the antitheft light test

then replace the module.. if your certian it's not a sensor issue.
The module is in a "not fun place"...lol

I say you have a short in the drivers side door somewhere

just use your key to lock it....that how i lock mine. if not the alarm will go off

I was having the same problem with my 98 after it rained. After some searching I found out that the cowl panel was missing two screws and was letting water get into the car. I have never had a problem with my door locks since I sealed up those holes.
