best spark plug and tstat for our cars?

was wondering what the preference of plugs ant what temp tstat do you guys get 180 or 160tstat

Autolite 764 copper plugs gapped at .048. Motorad Tstat at 160 rating.

are the spark plugs as hard to change as they were in my 99 t/a? There was one that took literally 2 hours to pull out and change, it was a whore an half!

NO WAY. I do these on Gen 2's in 10 minutes (ask Jamler, he couldnt belive it). Gen 1's is about 15 minutes.

I'll second that, I did them in my car, (GEN2). I am by no means a mechanic, but the hardest part was the gapping!

Most GM passenger cars suck to do plugs on. Back ones on the passenger's side right where the heater core/evap case lives especially. I always change them via the wheel well with a long extension.

Plugs are a super quick change on the Gen-2...
As long as you coil boots aren't cracked. Even with E-Taping
all coil boots, Geno was done in 10 minutes...

hey you need to tell me what you guys did over there with spark plugs and taping the bbots whats that about?

WHen I did Jamlers plugs he had cracked boots. I used rubber tape to fix them all. It works forever you just have to seriously prep them first. I also unshrouded the spark plugs and ran a .048 gap. Tapping? Ask Jamler? I am clueless.
