Great sound potential from the car. Most is muffled by the long skinny pipes with many bends. jthorn75 February 27th, 2005, 08:50 PM well is it like the classic V8 sound to it or is it more unique sounding like anything else? whatsupadrian February 27th, 2005, 10:26 PM well is it like the classic V8 sound to it or is it more unique sounding like anything else? depends on what setup. There is lots of volume pre cats. But i guess from there it all depends on mufflers, resonators, pipes, tips... Quik LS February 27th, 2005, 11:34 PM you can get a range from a nice softer lux to a load mustang - mostly effected by the mufflers. there are a couple of threads on this -> http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=3738&highlight=flowmaster http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=5288&highlight=flowmaster whatsupadrian February 28th, 2005, 12:22 AM you can get a range from a nice softer lux to a load mustang - mostly effected by the mufflers. there are a couple of threads on this -> http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=3738&highlight=flowmaster http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=5288&highlight=flowmaster I still disagree with it being the mufflers, because with stock piping and no mufflers it still isn't loud.(2000-2002) Quik LS February 28th, 2005, 06:48 AM well going from 2.25" to 2.5" piping couldn't have made that much of a difference. Maybe removing the resonators did. whatsupadrian February 28th, 2005, 04:50 PM well going from 2.25" to 2.5" piping couldn't have made that much of a difference. Maybe removing the resonators did. I still disagree, the bigger diameter piping, and all those little press bends... I remobed my resonators and left piping and removed mufflers and still quiet. I wish i recorded the sound when i did that. Quik LS February 28th, 2005, 05:42 PM nothing to disagree with - I never did the exhaust in pieces so I can't tell you for sure which pieces seperately did what for pwer and sound... | |||||
