I think you're right and he has sold so many parts off of it, that's why he isn't listing the VIN# and I bet that car does not look like that today. After reading how he wants to part it, it does look like the prices would be high because you have to agree to his price before he will list the part.

He wanted to sell it....got his undies in a wad when he was told it wasen't worth what he was asking.

He said the bumper is gone and then listed the fender for me. +1, your off color looks better than what he's selling. His would need body work to get those craters out. Whoever owned the car that the fender came of must have lived on a gravel road. :D

You mentioned having some slight hail damage. Since you live in the heat of Texas, get some dry ice and use it in the sun light. It will not hurt your paint and it works. Put it on the dent or ding for a few seconds and then take it off. The metal will contract and pull the dent out. It might take a 3 or 4 touches but it will pull itself out.
