Well i converted the front with the 1.5" lowering kit this spring and kept the rear air. If i keep the switch on the check air ride will come on. so i just keep the switch off. If i cut the "check air ride" wire will that also disable the "air ride switch off" messege? (I'm sick of pressing the reset button every time i start the car) And if so will the air ride still work? Cause i do have to air up the rear every 3 weeks or so...

I unplugged the air ride plug from the steering evo/ air ride ECM, not sure if Gen 2's are the same, but mine on my 94 is cleared.

The only way I know to keep(remember, the Mark VIII has 2 height settings) from having a check suspension message, is by converting the front & rear at the same time. If you convert, say the front only, even if you play with the sensors and find the "sweet spot" on the front sensors that tells the module its at the correct height and to continue and fill the rear.....as soon as the car reaches approx 60, the module will see that the front didn't vent because its converted, and BING...there goes the light.
