My computer just started giving me this message each time I start my car. I've made sure the brake lights are working, but the computer keeps bringing this up, and I don't know how to clear it. Anybody have any ideas? Car is a 1999 Conti. No other problems and this isn't major, just annoying. Thanks, Bill. 74500 miles.

I had the same prob a while back and didn't realize that one of the Two on one side WAS in fact out. Remember that there are two fro the brakes...

Probably low on brake fluid!!!

I checked, and all 4 brake lights are working, and the brake fluid is not low, anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks Bill.

Stupid me! Checked the lights during the daytime, and saw that the upper light, passenger side was out. Replaced it in about 10 minutes and everything is good. I can really be a goofus at times. Thanks especially to silver sweetness, you were exactly right. Thanks alot.
