HELLO ALL,
I am in the market for a 2003 or 2004 Navigator. Is there any significant difference between the two??? Is there any problems I need to look out for in both years???

Is the GPS navigation system in the in the 2003-2004- 2005. DVD based. Is there any difference or changes....

The navigation system was changed from CD based to DVD based sometime during the 2004 run. It is only available with the THX sound, (and I use that term loosely) system. Never having any prior use with the CD based system let alone a navigation system, I can tell you that it does work great. It's nice having all of North America on one DVD. Good luck. FWIW I would get an '05 since it has the new 6 speed auto. It's too bad you couldn't get the 4 valve with the 6 speed though.

Well, for one thing, I really wouldn't buy anything higher than a 03-04 navigator. My reason, because the 2005-2006 bumper is an unusual type of bumper, it looks kind of different, and wierd. I mean lots of people would agree, but the truck is still the same. I own an O3' navigator (Ultimate) with 22 inch rims. Big ballers, haha.

The 05-06 model front bumper looks better than the 03-04 model. ;)

They might look the similar on 3 sides, but once someone notices the front end on the '03-'04 models, they're gonna be like "Eww, that's an old Navigator." If anything, at least buy the '05 bumper, assuming it fits. :)

Nah, the 05-06 bumper clearly sucks, it looks a bit wierd. The 03-04 was awesome, it looked great compared to the 05-06 navigator. I got an 03-04 navigator I can call it an 04' since theres like no difference. I personally like the look of the bumper, with the round fog lights.:)

best years i think were 03 and 04. new ones are bull :q:q:q:q, and the 05 n 06's are nice, i not a big fan of the exterior change though, but still as always, lincolns are awesome.
