I have a Cadillac Seville 1987 4,1L. The problem is that i have to us the swith for "180 second dimmer" to get the headlights on. I have to take out the rele for interior lights for the interior light was on all the time.. I can`t drive on kilometer, then all the instrument lights are away. On Miles it`s allright..

Somebody who can help me..? And a internett adress where i can buy the parts i need to repair?

Sorry for my bad english!

Thank Kenneth, Norway

Im not sure but you may have 2 problems. The headlight switches are a very common problem in these cars so I would guess that the switch is bad.

The Mi / Km problem sounds like the instrument cluster itself. That isn't switched through the light switch. It's in the guage cluster.

The interior light staying on could also be a door pin telling the car that the door is open when it's not. I'm not sure if that car has the old style pin switches in the doors or not. The newer cars have a switch built into the lach and are harder to repair.

I would first look on eBay then I would call Brasington Motors.
