I have a chance to pick up 2 10" subs in the box plus amps from the Mustang Shaker 1000 system. Whole setup for $200.

I know I will get tons of people telling me to go aftermarket but honestly I like the sound of the 8" in my wife's MKX just fine so these 10's will be more than enough, plus they are light and sit sideways so they don't take up much room.

My question is ...
Can I hook them up the same way that I would an aftermarket setup? Tap into the rear deck subs and viola I just kept it factory but with more bass?
Any input would be great.

If the wiring is similar than I would assume so. Not like you need a password to hook them up :P

you will probably need to wire in just like your factory amp, if you are luckly, the plugs will just match up and plug in, otherwise you will need to connect each wire to the corect wire from the factory harness (signal to signal, signal ground to signal ground, turn on wire to turn on wire, ect) you will probably need to run a new power wire since the new amp is more powerful than the old amp

So I am not crazy in thinking that it can be done-
Couldn't I still have my rear deck subs functional but tap into the signal for the 10's and then have that signal amplified using the factory amp from the Mustang?
